David Allison, the owner of CheatCC, has infringed guides for nearly a decade
and a half. In order to prevent this from happening again in the future, as a
community we all have a responsibility to educate others, be it writers or
readers, about these malicious practices.

Below are several versions of copyright sections that contain a warning for
other readers/authors to be wary of Allison/CheatCC and their practices. There
are at least three good reasons for putting some notice or another regarding
CheatCC in all of your guides:

 1. It helps protect your work as it greatly reduces the chances of your guide
    getting infringed.
 
 2. It helps prevent new authors fall prey to a website that claims 'ownership'
    of everything 'sent' to them, and of which it is notoriously difficult to
    get your work removed.
 
 3. For years, no such preventive copyright notices were written or placed in
    guides as new generations of unaware authors emerged. This has effectively
    allowed Allison's malicious practices to flourish for nearly a decade while
    the FAQ-writing community was slumbering.

You are completely free to edit or alter these copyright notices in any way or
shape as you like. You are allowed to take portions of it and implement them in
your (existing) copyright sections. No credits need to be given. It is, however,
advised to place the minimum of the following elements into your copyright
notice:

 1. Sufficient, general, prohibiting copyright remarks.
 
 2. A list with allowed and not-allowed sites, with CheatCC on the latter.
    To be sure, it is advised to include something along the lines of:
    "Not allowed: CheatCC, nor any other websites owned or affiliated with
     David Allison, owner of CheatCC". 
    Allison is rumored to have more sites at his disposal, and this rules out
    any possible infringment scenarios on those websites. It is an important
    additional line; don't forget it.
 
 3. A preventive notice for other (aspiring) writers, in which is explained
    at the very least that CheatCC is a website that has been employing
    malicious/infringing practices for at least a decade.
