Thanks for the excellent FO3 guide. It's been a great tool for finding all the things I missed the first couple of times around.

I was just going through Vault 108 and noticed that you said there was a Tumbler's Today under a step ladder (next to a Quantum Nuka Cola) that you could never get. I had the same problem but only after picking up the Quantum cola. The initial state (position) of the magazine is on top of the step ladder. But if you grab the Quantum cola first, the magazine drops down (noticed this happens a lot when picking up items that are close together).

E-mail: Contact 		Just a question about fallout 3. I picked the game back up and started over. I decide to use your broken steel character build. However I find it impossible to answer with a tough answer doing "get radiated" quest from Moria due to End starting at 6. Getting 600 rads knocks it down to 3 thus buffout only takes it to 6. Any thoughts? Thanks

Regarding Broken Steel, you had requested info on how the Scrounger perk impacts the number of Alien Power cells found in a couple of places. So for what it's worth...

1) the 2 ammo boxes in Shock Value contained 40 and 45, respectively.

2) the 3 locked ammo boxes in the Launch Platform Base contained 40, 51 and 43, respectively. The gun case with the Alien Blaster had 10.

I won't swear that these are the exact same numbers that everyone will encounter, since the Scrounger perk is often a little random, in my experience (i.e I may find, for example, 23 .308 rounds in an ammo case one time, but if I reload for some reason, I may find 26 rounds in the same case. So it may vary...but there is ALWAYS more than I'd find w/o the perk.) I did play thru both those levels twice, and found the same number of Alien Power cells each time, so that one MAY be 'fixed'...I don't know.

Also...for the record...it's not neccessary to destroy the Sentinel Bot in the Presidential Metro tunnels to get the fuses. M.A.R.Go.T. will grant you "friendly" status if you ask her to disable the Security measures in the tunnel. At least, she did for me, and I tried it all three ways (i.e. Science, Speech Check, and using the Senator's I.D.). Then after clearing the tunnels (the Optional portion of the quest), the Sentinel Bot will automatically repair the line by placing the fuses in the box himself. NOTE...maybe I got the "friendly" status AFTER clearing the tunnels...I'm not sure. The Reavers pretty much destroyed the Bots in the first area, and all that was left was the Turret, which I helped defend by hiding from the Turret, wearing my Ghoul mask, and sniping any Ghouls that attacked the Turret. THEN I returned to M.A.R.Go.T., and she made me a friendly, so no Bots down the line attacked me. (Just an FYI.)

Anyway, thanks for the great Guides...
