Druid Valley(and Cemetary)
Getting to Druid Valley takes a little while. At the Vast Valley, you've trained a long while, so you should have a good amount of exp by now. Dexterity is going to play an important role from now on, bigger than before. Here is a map of the Druid Valley. You're going to add dex, dex and then some more. You need attacks for the Druid Valley. Str&Con should be boosted at about 80-90, and 80 Intelligence is needed to enter the Druid Valley, and the Cemetary. The cemetary has creatures with less life than the ones in the Druid Valley, but they hit harder, and have better defenses. Here is a map of the Cemetary if you need it. Therefore it's best to train in a different way this time. The Druids are too strong of an opponent now, but those Kreens.. Yes. The kreens give even better experience than Druids, hit for few Life, and don't have too much Life. You're going to work on 1rding them. You'll need a lot of dex for it, so focus your attention on it. Charisma seems less important, but don't stop boosting it. Your new goal, 1rding the Kreens, can be made easier with two Lightening Rings, that add 20 Dex. That's one attack each. They are still quite pricey, but if you boost Charisma then they drop somewhat in price. And the gold you're making in Vast Valley isn't too bad. Still, you have your Throwing Daggers which are pretty good. When you keep this up, you'll find yourself killing Kreens soon enough. Dont't bother with Druids, as they just don't reward well. You may check out the cemetary too, but keep in mind that it's slower experience than on Kreens. Now it's just training time again. Train on Kreens, and pick up those Dehydrated Druids. That makes training easier around here, as they heal for 81. Boost Dex and Chr so you might 1rd those annoying Druids sooner or later. You're getting closer to doing your first quest, btw. That's right. Free the King from the Castle, wasn't it what they said at the very beginning of the game? Well the rewards are good. If you complete that quest, you get 200000 Exp, and 10 Quest Points. You can ALSO pick up a full Silver Armor Set, a Blue Amulet, a Guard Sword, and better food called Cooked Meat. Even better, this quest goes kind of paired with a sub-quest, getting a Blue Amulet for the Jewelry Shop Owner. You only receive that quest when you are higher than 700 WS though. So get training, and get your Life up higher than 300. Boost your Intelligence to 100 if you haven't done that already. When your Life is higher than 300, it's time to your first big event.
The Castle
So you have 300 Life or more? More Life is better, to be safe. You got Chain and Shimmering equipped? Got 100 Intelligence? Good. You need a crapload of Dehydrated Druids as you'll want to heal constantly. All set? Go! Use the maps to find your way to the Castle. Here's a map of the Castle. The Castle isn't really a castle..it's more like a hollow wall with stairs to the next floor. Oh well. Let's climb this wall. On the first floor are Rookie Guards, who you should be able to handle easily. Just remember to heal to full when you get hit. They drop Silver Gauntlets and Silver Necklace. Pick them up, and equip them. That's some more defense for sure. Pick up any Cooked Meats you notice lying around, as they'll sort of replace your Dehydrated Druids. Move to the second floor and fight your way trough Castle Guards. They drop Silver Boots, Helm and Shield, and the usual Cooked Meat. Yummy. Equip the pieces of armor. That's some more defense. Move further to the 3rd floor and encounter Elite Guards. They are a bit tougher, but manage to beat one and they may drop a Guard Sword, Blue Amulet, and the remaining Silver Pieces. Equip it all. Your Shimmering Cloak is just as good as the Silver Mail, so don't ponder what you'll wear. The Guard Sword is better than the Throwing Dagger, so equip it too, and pick up at least two Blue Amulets. One for you, one for the next sub-quest. It adds 5 str so equip it. Move your way to the 4rth and Final Floor. This floor is home of the Drakmor Dragons, ichy beasts that spit fire. Watch your Life, and heal constantly. When you reach the end, free King Drakmor. Congratulations! You've just completed your first quest, and gained 200k Exp. Town Portal to the fountain and spend it on the stats you need, like Chr and Dex. Have you reached 700 Wall Score yet? I bet you do after this nice boost. Go to the Jewelry Shop, accept the quest, and fetch your bounty by giving a spare Blue Amulet to him. His reward is awesome: 10k gold and 2 Million Experience! Oh yes, that's right. What a boost. But c'mon. You deserved it after all your work. You're doing good. Absolutely. It's smart to BANK this gold right away, so you won't lose it. As for the 2 mil exp, I'm sure you can use it on Dexterity and Charisma. Perhaps boost some of your other stats as well.
Continue on your Journey(and Lake Gala)
Now it's kind of hard to say what you should do next. Some people fight at the Druid Valley for ages, then move on to the Castle. I prefer a better strategy for this. You got plenty of gold, since you just got that 10k from the quest. Ask someone if they can send an Ogre Club to you, and get it out. Of course it's pricy BUT it's very powerful. (Let's hope you get the cheap Ogre Club of the two, shall we?) You might've noticed that it's fatique useage is pathetic much, but this is just a weapon that will lead you to the stronger equipment. And that's what you want, isn't it? If you don't have enough gold, boost your Charisma to around 150 and buy it out with spare money made on training in the Druid Valley, or perhaps Rookie Guards. Admittance to new areas isn't exactly free though. You're going to have to focus on Intelligence a lot from this moment onward.
You need 130 Intelligence to enter Lake Gala, but there isn't much to do there. Here's a map of Lake Gala. With the Ogre Club, you should just continue to bash on Castle creatures, and save some spare gold to the bank incase you die later on. Also get the exp here. At 130 Int you can enter the Lake at the Outskirts, however, the only good thing here is the food, the Fishtails. Grab some of them, and if you can 1rd here, then that's great of course. If you can't however, and that's very understandable with an Ogre Club, then you will have to boost even more Intelligence. And not only your intelligence, but also your Dex, Str&Con. You're going to have to train pretty long at the Castle, and boost your Life to 500 something. That's a good new base for you. Preferably just boost as much Dex as you can. Then bring up your Int to 160. Now you can enter a new area. A new complex, even.. The Mountain.
The Mountain
The Mountain is a big, and somewhat complex area. Here is a map of it, and that's including Ogre Cave. The Dwarven Village is something you shouldn't worry about YET. Later on you'll enter. So when you see the sign that says it's on the east, DON'T go east. You might die. Instead, go up the mountain, towards the top. The Top is the home of the once feared Hydra. It only appears on the middle spots of the most upper part of the mountain. The Hydra is still a tough opponent, but since you have an Ogre Club, and well around 500 life, you should be able to kill him without too much trouble. If you have 400 Life it's cool too, and 350 Life is even possible, but less recommended. Better safe than sorry. When you defeat the Hydra, it drops an ALMOST FULL set of Green Scale Armor. This is better than anything you've worn so far, so undress and slip in. The only thing you're missing now is the EFS, Emerald Fire Shield, dropped by the Dead Knight in the cemetary. The Dead Knight is harder than the Hydra, but you don't really need the EFS yet. At 500+ Life you may go attempt to beat him, under that Life it's a little bit risky. Once you have the Green Armor, it's just a matter of time before you get a lot stronger. You need to boost Int to 190 to be able to enter the Dark Forest..and finally get strong. Train where ever you want to as long as you 1rd the creatures it's fine. Castle might still be the best option. When you have 190 Int, make sure you have a real decent amount of Life, that's around 550 or more. With that Life, move on to the next step...The Dark Forest.
May the Forge be with you
The main goal now is to Forge a JEW, a Jeweled Emerald Wand. You need to have 5 items to do so, and three are easily gotten for you, but the other two are harder. I'm talking about the Green Emerald and the Green Pixie Dust. They are dropped by Trolls and Elfs. They don't always drop when you kill them, so you might have to kill multiple of them for a drop. You should have a good amount of Life and food with you before you try to take them on. I'd say 550 Life. And when you DO get them to drop it's party time. You can now forge a JEW. You need: Gold Crown(Use the one you have or beat another Hydra), Green Dust, Green Emerald, Flaming Staff(beat an Old Wizard) and Bear Steak(buy from any food shop). Then go to the forge and make that JEW! Now that you have the JEW, you can inflict WAY more damage than you first could. This is sort of a new level. Now you can make yourself even stronger, since you can kill most creatures for your level. It's time to make an Eagle Talisman first. You need a Wooden Shield(buy from armor shop), a Green Emerald, Staff(buy from weapon shop), Green Dust and a Pegasuse Wing(beat a Pegasuse Scout on the Mountain Top). Eagle Talisman (ET for short) adds 50 Strength and 100 Dexterity. Equip it right away, I'd say! But you're not finished yet. The next forge is the Green Bracelet. You need: Emerald Fire Shield(Beat the Dead Knight in the Cemetary now, use the map. Also take a spare one as Armor),a Green Emerald, a War Hammer(beat a Druid), Green Dust and Hydra Flank(not from Hydra, but bought in Food Shop). The Bracelet adds 20 Str, 20 Dex, 20 Wis and 20 Chr. That's another nice boost. The last forge you'll make for some time is the Green Trunk. This is a valueble item, as it's one of the few that doesn't go away when you die and that makes it useful. It adds +5 slots at Trader Jacks, so you can hold more there. For Green Trunk you need: Green Scale Neckband(beat another Hydra), Green Emerald, Throwing Daggers(buy them again), Green Dust and a Pegasuse Wing(beat up another Pegasuse Scout). Now you're all set. No more mister nice guy! Let the creatures Cry and Die. Time for action. With all these new things, you can fight and 1rd stronger creatures. The best spot is the ogre cave for this. They give really good experience for now, not to mention the good gold drops. Don't fight in the Dark Forest though, as you AREN'T allowed to kill any more ELFS from now on, unless you die and need the forges. You'll hear why later. For now, concentrate on the Ogre Cave and keep killing them. Bank your gold every once in a while.
Feel free to move on to the Expert Guide.
