Part 1: Explanations
Part 2: Shilla Legends

So.. do I still need your help? I'm a professional now!
Ok, relax. The answer is no, you don't really need my help from here, but you can find many unanswered questions in this section, as well as many very useful recovery hints. Not to mention the info of everything else. You've been training in the Sky Castle, and that's a good thing, because that place gives some nice exp, which you spent on Dex, most likely. But you'll want to move on the the Great Plains, soon. While the Plains has mostly creatures that are Earth align, the White Hawk is Air, which is good if you're Fire align. The two special creatures Salena and Death Angel are both Fire align, and you'll want to beat them soon. Salena is randomly found in the Plains, just like the Death Angel who hides in the Well. I recommend you use the Map and the hints that are on that page, so you can find them. Salena drops the Ornate Fascia (+50 Str +40 Dex +50 Con +50 Int), a bracelet that's better than the one you've been wearing. As for the Death Angel, it drops Fire Storm Scrolls. But beware while fighting these two creatures. They pack a punch, and depending on your align, you should have this much life to be 100% safe. Of course, if you have Magic Shield and some decent armor, you can cut off like 150 life. Here's a table of the recommended Life:

-Salena :Death Angel :
Fire35003000
Air39003400
Earth35003000
Water31002700

So if you're Fire Align and you should have 3500 Life before beating Salena. Get a few Scrolls from the Death Angel. You'll need them soon. Scrolls are 1-time shots at creatures, and you can train them at the Scroll Shop in the Shilla Town. The higher the level, the better damage the scroll delivers. And the damages can go up really high, like 10 million damage if you train it high enough. If you can kill the Death Angel, you can now get Scrolls, and that means you can do alot of different things. I mean different from killing creatures.
As a Mage, you'll have some trouble beating the Death Angel, since your life just isn't all that high. Buy the Elven Boots, Dwarven Helm and Draconian Shield to boost your life with 600 points. Only do this when you have the mana pieces already. Your advantage is that you'll have alot higher Wisdom than a fighter will, so your scrolls will be a bit easier to train. Only a bit, since your dex is lower than theirs.

Scrolls are inevitable
With Scrolls you can do alot of cool things. Like getting yourself a new weapon.. called Scepter of Alura Dhir. It's dropped by a creature in the Canals, called Earth Elemental. For the Canals, you need 490 Int, so get that. I'll teach you how to use Scrolls. You can train a Scroll up to any level, as long as you have enough mana. You can heal yourself with food (which you should have alot of, like Golden Showers) to heal your mana. The Earth Elemental I was talking about has 2050000 Life (2 million and 50k). Check out the Scrolls Calculator. Here you can calculate exactly what level your scroll needs to be at to beat the Earth Elemental. Fill in everything, for example 2200 Dex and 700 Wisdom. With these stats, you'll need a level 267 scroll to beat an EE(=Earth Elemental). Now I know that the EE doesn't always drop a Scepter, but has a drop rate of only like 17%. So you'll have to get several scrolls ready to have a chance on getting a Scepter dropped. Beware though, because in the Canals, you NEED a Lightening Ring to see in there, unless you're a race that sees well. With an L-ring, you'll have lower dex than normal. Always keep this in mind when scrolling! Sometimes you'll have bad luck, sometimes you'll have good luck, but the point is that you can get good items. The Scepter has the same damage like a ROD, but with only 5% misses. And trust me, that's alot of attacks you're missing. After like 10 Scrolls you should have gotten a Scepter, unless you had bad luck. After the Scepter, we're going after the Ornate Fascia. You can use Scrolls for Salena, however if you wait a little bit you can kill her normally, which would save you some time with Scroll Training. It doesn't really matter much. Now you've learned how to use Scrolls.. I want you to use some more Scrolls .. but that will require some better stats, or it becomes an almost impossible task. Soon. For now, try killing in the first part of the Great Plains, the part with White Hawks. It's really good experience compared to the Sky Castle, and you'll have alot of experience on your hands in no time. Perhaps a good time to try and shoot for your first billion?
Mages won't need a Scepter, but the Ornate Fascia is a good bracelet upgrade, as it gives 50 Int. And Salena hits for quite some life, so scrolling it might save some time. Furthermore, I know you've been doing a long time with the same weapon now.. your trusty Ruby Mace.. but you'll want something better than that. There are only two Mana weapons left that are stronger, which are the Blackened Staff (a reall hard-to-make forge, sending restriction is 11k WS), and the Ferrule of Reki Mia (FoRM, dropped by Thoth, a powerful Egyptian God in the Pyramid, sending restriction is 14.5k WS). Now, that doesn't look too good... however.. there *IS* a way to get the FoRM... and it's by scrolling, you've guessed it. It's quite hard really, I know, but you've got the stats for it. You'll need 790 Int for the Pyramid, and a load of really, really powerful scrolls. You need to kill a creature that has 7650000 Life. So check the Calculator .. with, for example, 1500 Dex and 1500 Wis, you'll need scrolls of level 680. Ouch, I know what you're thinking. And Thoth doesn't always drop. Try to have 5 of these scrolls, and even though it takes long, the Ferrule has a damage average of 8k!! Think of that when you're training your scrolls. You can also wait with getting the Ferrule for a bit, to make it easier. It's up to you. Also, check out the Desert Map and the Great Pyramid Map to help you getting to Thoth in the first place. Good luck with this, just keep thinking about the 8k damage the Ferrule gives. Oh, and don't die after getting it.

A Warm Safari & A Cold Expedition
In the Plains are 3 areas, kinda. There's the White Hawk one, the Cougar/Jaguar/Great Tiger, and the Rhino/Killer Wolf one. The last one gives the best exp, but is often a pain to 1-rd, because of the high Rhino armor. The gold you get is pretty good too, but soon you'll money problems will be over anyway. Buy any Village Armor you still needed, including the Elven Cloak, that gives you another boost of 200 Dex. You can also go on a trip to the Halfling Shire, that's randomly found in the Plains. You need lots of different food to enter, like 15 would be good. You can get amulets and rings sent to you, should you need those. Green Rings for when you die, maybe. Now there's not much else left to do for now, except to train alot in the Plains. When you're done with the White Hawks, go to the Cougar level. I suggest moving North/South while training, or you might pop in the Shire unwanted. And keep an eye out for Salena popping up, as she might kill you in one shot just like that. When you're strong enough to kill Rhino's, you might want to check out the next area too.. which is the Upper Volcano. But during your training in the Plains, it's time to spend some training on Scrolls.. and this time it's for a very, very powerful creature.. Odin. I'll clear it up a little. You'll need alot of money soon, for an Elemental Weapon, so you can beat a Guardian. But it costs alot, like tens of millions. Also, some people seem to die alot, and that's ok sort of, because you learn from mistakes, but it sucks to have no recovery money, and to buy a full set of Village Armor every time makes you want to give up completely. So I found a solution. You're going to need "some" Int and Wis now, to be specific you'll need 1001 Wisdom and 740 Int (to enter the Glacier. Now, Odin has 8650000 Life, so with 3000 Dex and 1001 Wis, you'll need Scrolls of Level 577. It's alot, it's really alot, but the rewards are great. Awesome great. Get like 10 of these scrolls, and go to the Glacier. Go to the Section where Odin is, and use the Scrolls all on him. Pray that he drops a few pieces of Mythril armor. You most likely won't fit it, or you're lucky as hell, but it's ok. Go to the armor shop, and sell it. For as much as 20 million for each piece. That's how you make money. Bank that money ASAP.
Now you've got enough recovery money for a while. If you feel like doing that again, then do it! But that's not the only thing. Depending on your align, you can already easily beat on of the 4 guardians, that will actually surrender to you. All you need is the weapon to beat it. Ask someone in chat if they can send you the weapon. If you are Fire Align, you'll need the Aqua Sapphire Sword to beat the Fire Guardian. If you're Water, you'll need the Earth Obsidian Mace to beat the Water Guardian. If you're Air, you'll need the Fire Ruby Axe to beat the Air Guardian. And if you're Earth, you'll need the Air Crystal Bow to beat the Earth Guardian. You got the money to buy it out, and the weapons can be sent at 1750 WS already, so no worries there. Just hope that someome can send it to you. And be thankful to that person ;) The Mayor will give you the quest at 1001 Wis, which you should have gotten, which also lowered the scrolls levels. You should use the maps to get to the guardian you want to get at. The Water Guardian is at Atlantis, the Fire Guardian in the Lower Volcano, the Air Guardian in the Clouds, and the Earth Guardian is in the Pyramid Top. Buy out your weapon, and go to the guardian. He/She will surrender, as they don't want to fight their own align. You'll beat it to a bloody pulp anyway, and grab the Key. Grabbing that Key just got you 500 mil exp, 10 million gold and 15 QP! That's a decent reward for your work, and there's 3 others left.. but we'll get back on those. Bank your money again, and spend your exp on Dex or Wis.
You're going to do some more scrolling, and I know it costs alot of food all the time. So since you've got alot of money now anyways, but a load of Yellow Snow Cones from the demonic merchant in the Catacombs (the best light-weight food in the game). Heals for alot at this stage, and useful for training too. You'll training will be alot faster with this food, since you'll heal in one time, and you don't need to pick up food anymore. You're going to kill more Glacier creatures .. which are Balder, Thor and Loki, in that specific order. Balder drops Ice Rings (+150 Dex, +300 Con) where you'll want two of, Thor drops an Ice Amulet (+200 Dex, +200 Con), and Loki drops an Ice Bracelet (+80 Dex, +90 Con, +80 Wis, +90 Chr). That's some heavy stats those things add, so get back to clicking on your precious scrolls.. Check the life of the creatures first, of course. To be safe, train them to do 8650000 damage again. Since your stats went up since last time, you'll now need less than Level 577 for each scroll. The drop rates seem like 30% or so, so just hope for alot of drops. Get a bunch of scrolls, and get the items. When you've got them, you just became alot more powerful! You're pretty much ready for the Volcano now! Oh yeah .. now that was pretty fast, wasn't it?
Mages will follow a slightly different path. You'll still want the money from Odin of course, so get those Scrolls too, and train them really high, checking the Calculator all the time. Also beat one of the guardians, and dump the exp into Wisdom. Then get just the Ice Bracelet by using a bunch of scrolls on Loki. Your E-rings will be good enough, and your Ankh is pretty darn good too. And don't, you've got your Ferrule, which is by all means, B-E-A-utiful. If you waited with getting your Ferrule, do so now.

The Volcano & Killing the Elemental Guardians
After having done all that stuff with scrolls, you've done enough with those things. It's time for some regular training again. In the Volcano, your next training area. The creatures here are mainly fire, as you would expect, however the Roc is Air, and a Manticore in one of the deeper levels is Earth. The experience is great, and the gold is.. well, I won't even mention the gold from now on, because if you really want gold, you can just sell a few Mythril Pieces for gold. And if you die, just get your stuff back with your scrolls. It takes some time, so don't die that much. Anyway, the first level of the Volcano is much better than the Plains, so you're going to like being in it. But you'll be some time in the Upper Volcano, cause the level that comes after this one, the Fire Lizard Trainer level, is a level where you're also going to be for a while. And the level after that, with Young Red Dragons, can't really be done with much speed either. It means some training, some training, and some more training. However, there *ARE* some things to do besides just training in the volcano. There are still three other guardians out there that don't deserve to live, and by now it's also about time that I learn you about the other Fighter Specialities, which will also give you a good training boost. Hey, perhaps you're not going to be that slow after all. First of all, the guardians. You'll definately need to check out the Quests Page for some info about the guardians. I'll explain more here. Alright, here's the thing. You've already beaten the easiest guardian. The other three are a bit harder, with one guardian being very hard. Obviously, it's the one you're weak against. Let me explain the thing about the guardians more with the following table:

-Fire GuardianAir GuardianEarth GuardianWater Guardian
FireSurrenders20 Mil Life10 Mil Life5 Mil Life
Air5 Mil LifeSurrenders20 Mil Life10 Mil Life
Earth10 Mil Life5 Mil LifeSurrenders20 Mil Life
Water20 Mil Life10 Mil Life5 Mil LifeSurrenders

So here's the thing: The guardians vary in strength, depending on your align. If you are the same align as the guardian, they will surrender to you. You've done that part already. Then there's the guardians of the type you are normally weak against, and the ones you're neutral against (neutral, but aren't the same align). Those ones, as you can see in the table, have 5 Million Life, and 10 Million Life. The ones with 5 Million Life will hit VERY low, just like 10 damage or something, so there's nothing to worry about from them. As for the ones with 10 Million Life, they hit the normal hits, which is still pretty low. 1250 hits or something is about what you can expect. Still nothing to worry about. But then there's the 20 Million Life ones, and it's a pretty mean trick, because those guardians are of the align that you are normally very strong against. Like, normally if you're Water you're strong against Fire, but now you'll get your ass kicked by the Fire Guardian. Or normally you're strong against Air aligns if you are Fire, but now you'll get your ass kicked by the Air Guardian. Also, you will still need to have the right Elemental Weapon equipped to beat any Guardian. Here's the info again, to have a complete story here: You need the Aqua Sapphire Sword to beat the Fire Guardian. You need the Earth Obsidian Mace to beat the Water Guardian. You need the Fire Ruby Axe to beat the Air Guardian. You need the Air Crystal Bow to beat the Earth Guardian. Go and beat the 5 Mil and 10 Mil ones, but wait with the 20 Mil Life one. And of course, if you need money, go and kill more of Odin. Or try your luck at the Desert and get 2 E-Rings .. but that can take really long so I'm not in fond of it.You can't just beat the 20 Million Life ones normally, because those guys hit you like crazy, with amounts bordering 22k+ Life. It's pretty much impossible to beat them like that, unless you would have insanely much luck with Bedazzle. But I'm not counting on that, so you're going to make a different, and much safer approach. You need to change align. Yeah, that's right. It doesn't matter to what align, because it'll either mean: Surrender, 10 health hits, or 1k health hits. I suggest you pick the align that can help you with getting to the next area. You still need the last Elemental Weapon to beat the Guardian though. Beat it (easier said than done, because you need to change align) and then grab the last Key, and you've gotten 3x 500 Mil Exp + 3x 10 Million Gold + 3x 15 QP. A pretty nice reward for your level, I'd say! Congrats! Note: You can also wait with the last Guardian until the next part of the guide, which also explains how to change align.
Mages will have an easier time with beating the Guardians, since Life isn't an issue, and with 2 E-rings the weapons are easier to buy. As for the rest, it stays pretty much the same. Just be sure to check the table above, and be prepared well with the Elemental Weapons.

More Volcano & More Villages
With the Guardians out of the way, it's time to train a bit more in the Volcano. The boost you got from the exp was a total of 2 bil, which was nice, but not that great. You'll be fighting in the Volcano at least, and you'll want to get to the second level, with the Hatchling Dragons. This level has two annoying aspects: The first one being the enormous picture of the Hatchling Dragon, so turn off the pictures. Secondly, the Fire Lizard Trainer has the buttons underneath each other, which can sometimes be confusing. Anyway, you'll get used to it, since that's a level you're going to be at for quite some time. In the meantime while you're getting bored of training, you can explore more village, and even do another side quest if you want. But first, ask for an Invisibility Ring (I-Ring for short). Head to the Halfling Shire to get it out. It costs a bunch, but you should have the money. Now be warned, because onece you put it on, you're cursed, and you can't take the ring off! You will also lose about 60 Max Life/Mana/Fatigue with every step you take. So you'll want to uncurse it. You can do this in Necropolis, west of the Cemetary. Search for the un-curse shop, and uncurse your I-Ring. Don't take the ring off yet, because if you do, it will be cursed again when you put it back on, and you don't want that. The good thing is that you're now invisible and you can enter any village you want. Well.. any village, except for the Draconian Lair that's in the Volcano. In that village are random drunken draconians that will always hit you, no matter if you're invisible or not. And they do about 5500 max damage, so be sure to always have that life when you go inside there. But as for any of the other villages, you can do what you want now..
It's a good time to try the Orc VS Elf Quest. To get that quest, you'll need to walk around in Town alot, meeting Town Guards. I'd say meet 1000+ and you'll have a good chance one of them tells you about the Quest. More information is on the Quests Page, but it's a quest you can fail, because you only have 7 days to complete it. If you choose the Orc side, they'll let you into their village (I always find it useless, because since you have an I-Ring, you can get in anyways), and if you choose the Elven side, you get a discount of 10% on all elven items. Oh yeah, and you sell items for 10% gold more too. It's more of a story-adding quest, so just have fun while doing it, and follow the steps of the Quest Page. The creatures you need to beat (either Elvin Defenders or Orc Raiders) are weak, and have 2 million life, but only hit for really low (500~ ish).
Mages can do the Orcs VS Elfs Quest just like fighters can, so there's not much difference. It's also a good thing to get the I-Ring. That thing really helps sometimes. Don't forget to uncurse it. While that's a fun distraction, it doesn't really help you with progressing in the game. Something else does, and I mean Speciality Guilds. But that's something for the next part..

Move on to the Elite Guide.
