04-Jan-2007: Spirit Guardian & Neutral Align |
The Spirit Guardian has been released. This is your opponent of the next main story quest.
The stats can be found on This Page.
When you beat it, you'll gain all elements in-one, in other words you become Spirit (which is neutral). Your chat
text will become yellow. The Experience reward for the quest is 100 billion.

03-Jan-2007: Weapon damage update |
I finished the damage ranges for all weapons except a few Mana Weapons.

01-Jan-2007: Minor Updates |
First, hope everyone is having a good New Years. I went ahead and archived the wall as of now.
Sorry for it being an entire year between archives. I wanted to do one in July, but alot of people
weren't playing much(myself included). That has changed. I also updated the area pages with correct links, added what was new to each area, took out what was outdated info. Finally, presents are being dropped today. For more info on what to expect, look at the archived news from last year this time. Its more or less the same things. Also, according to the Shilla News Page, there will be an update relating to Guilds, Specialties(their bonuses), and also how critical hits are calculated. Those will be looked at from our end when we get a chance to.

31-Dec-2006: Shilla Nostalgy |
Here we are, at the very end of the year. A good time to relive old memories, perhaps?
Do you remember the Town in Pink? Or perhaps
the Old Shilla II Banner? And while we're at it,
the Old Outskirts Bat? Or did you start playing when
characters could still have Negative Stats? At one
time, the graveyard was showing this. And at halloween once,
the town was invaded by Ghosts that you couldn't hit! Surely I
remember Melkor fooling me with a freeMithril Shield. And
you may remember the SBS being Uber Strong. And when he was more
often around, Radagast had some fun, and some more fun.
I was stunned when I last found this rarity in the Plains. As was I
stunned when I found there were .. No Players at some points. And this
was when Orc Gambling was the most fun! The pictures may be heavy and take a while to load. Sorry for that, but, they're worth it. Enjoy :) Alpha |
30-Dec-2006: Creature Data Update |
The majority of the creature tables are now done. You'll find that some tables
aren't fully completed yet, and that some areas (Inner Maze, Atlantis) are still missing,
but they aren't the most important ones. Of course, they will soon follow. The past few holiday days, flowers (Evergreen Bough, Sprig of Holly) and Boxes dropped. The drop rate for flowers was particularly low (1%), and the Boxes are, like last year, infinitely looped with smaller boxes. Alpha |
12-Dec-2006: Weapon page update |
It was alot of work, but after figuring out how creature armor works now (they're %)
the weapon research went on. Although far from complete (mainly restrictions missing),
here's the new Weapon Page.
Alpha Update: I added the actual numbers(for what we have done so far) on the monster pages. Will continue on finding stat requirements and ranges for the other weapons. |
03-Dec-2006: Guild Quests & Creature Tables Update |
The Fighters and Mana-users their main quests have been updated in both shilla and
shillatime, so you can proceed with those.
I also added the creature tables for Volcano, Canals, and Clouds. The
Golem & Slime page also has Scroll Resistance and Magic Resistance info, and
for the curious it also includes the newly added pics for them.
|
25-Nov-2006: Creature Table Update |
I updated the creature tables up to around the Deep Dark Forest.
Check Here for now.
Update: Added up to Plains to the list.
|
21-Nov-2006: Shillatime's back in business |
The first updates are released on shillatime. You may find the
Golem & Slime Creature Page interesting, as well as the new
Forge Page. Beside the Creature and Weapon update, you will also notice creatures dropping food they didn't used to drop. Shillatime's Creature tables will be updated accordingly ASAP. (Update)Heres the updated New Food Page. Alpha & BP |
20-Nov-2006: Oh Wow...An Update! |
As you have for sure noticed by now, Shilla has gotten some updates.
They came in 2 sets, Monster and Weapon.
The Monster updates changed the exp, max hits, gold, and armor of all creatures.
As soon as I can get the values figured out, I will update those pages.
I will update the front page as well when I get them done.
The Weapon Updates are different. Some weapons were removed, some added, some readjusted. Each weapon class has 6 weapons, the base at town, and one for each gem/dust combo. The monsters that drop the gems are golems and the dusts are slimes. I will list the locations of them in the new forge page, that will be written today. Most of the combos have been found, after an extensive group effort the night before. I would like to thank those people for helping me out greatly with that. I will write more probably today, for sure later on in the week. If you want to help, let me know in Shilla, or feel free to post any info you feel is useful (like average hits for the gem/dust droppers for example, would be a good one) on our message board under the research thread. Thanks =) |
01-Nov-2006: Shilla's downtime |
As you may have for sure figured out by now, Shilla is down. Its been down for
a day now, and according to Melkor, its going to be down for a few days at least.
The problem is being worked on as we speak, and we are only hoping for the best.
And no, he wanted to clarify that there is no work being done on the update for the time being.
A setback, yes. But, its a perfect time to take a break, and be ready for the new game.
Have Fun, EDIT: I went ahead and got a chatroom installed on the message boards. To use them, you must be registered. Enjoy!! |
18-Sep-2006: Minor additions |
[Update: Fixed the Poll, thanks Rav.] I added a new poll, so make sure you vote on it. Furthermore, I added a small icon to the main page, and introduced new headers for several pages on shillatime. You'll notice those.. Also fairly new are the options for people to auto accept/reject/ask for spells that are casted on them. Also found in the options menu, but only for Pixies is the Show/Hide option. This makes you visible when you want to be seen so others can cast spells on you. Like I said, only for Pixies. ~Alpha |
05-Aug-2006: Look, another update! |
You are now able to edit your own Character History in Shilla. To do this, you will have to go
to where the old validator was located(W,S,S,W,W,W,W,N from fountain), and at that point you can enter
whatever you may like. After saving it, it will show up when someone else clicks your name(that now shows
stats, exp, gold, spell and kill ranks and numbers). Interesting, suppose so. Usefulness, not really. Til the next "update", |
30-July-2006: Hey, look, it's an update! |
You can now click on a character's name, and more
info will be displayed, like the Race, Sex, Align, Class and Wall Score. It might be
a gate to further future updates. Interesting nonetheless.
~Alpha |
2-June-2006: A feast for the eye |
"Ouch, my eyes are hurt when looking at your site." "Wow, your site looks nice .. but kind of dark". But no more. The background will look familliar for some, and I think it looks rather decent. Voice your opinion about it in the new poll.
~Alpha |
31-May-2006: New Scroll Calculators |
I added scroll calculators on the scroll page for people equipping the 3 moon pendant. The info should be accurate, based on past research. If you notice an error, let me know. Thanks, |
18-May-2006: Yes, We are alive and awake |
As you may have noticed, there hasn't been much activity going on in Shilla lately, as it usually happens during the summer months.
The game is also in a stand still, waiting for some long awaited (and much needed) updates by the admins.
When those changes are made, rest assured we will be on stop of them, getting the infomation out to you, the players.
Until then, we are just watching, and taking a break, like most everyone else has.
However, if you feel that something should be looked at, or updated, or have some really cool idea, let us know.
Either by the email addresses on the top, or at our forums.
Thanks,(and try to have fun ;) |
18-April-2006: Easter Drops, Jewelry Box Forge & Enchanter's Stone |
A couple of things. First of all, there were Easter drops. Gypsies dropped Jelly Beans (heals for 18)
and Hard Boiled Eggs (heals for 27). Second, the Jewelry Box Forge has been added on shillatime. It's basically a trunk for the Jewelry Sender in the Halfling Shire, and it increases your slots by 3, making a total of 6 slots possible to have there. It's not lost upon dying, so I highly recommend you to get it. You'll most likely need those extra slots sometime. The last thing I updated on shillatime is a special page for the Enchanter's Stone Quest you might have heard about. It's a very interesting quest, so be sure to check it out sometime (whenever possible). ~Alphablast |
1-April-2006: Survey, FAQs, oh and Shilla's down? |
Shilla's not down, since the news page, for example, can still be accessed. It just refers users to other
sites, so it's an April Fool's joke.. I worked some on shillatime. I made a Shilla Survey, and I also added a FAQ Page with Frequently Asked Questions and answers. I also added a hit counter at the bottom of this frontpage. Just a little extra thing. ~Alphablast |
31-March-2006: New Poll, New Newsletter Issue |
I created a new poll and placed it on Shillatime. I think it's always
interesting to see what people like to see, even if some things will never
happen. I also spread the second issue of the Newsletter. Hope you get it. ~Alphablast |
30-March-2006: Armor Update |
Nothing much to report here, except that I updated the armor values up to the Glacier. They should be correct now.
I also reclarified the explanation on how armor works.
|
25-March-2006: Notifications | ||||||||||||
Worth mentioning, Shilla introduces notifications on several occasions now.
This is basically a message that will appear on the top of the combat screen, and
stays there for three clicks. A notification is made whenever someone sends you something,
whenever someone sends you a message, when you only have a few hours left to rent a rental item, or
when you're running out of time for the Orcs VS Elfs quest. I assume this notification system
will be used for other things in the future as well. On another note, I added this table to the menu explanation page:
It's time for shilla, |
22-March-2006: Huh, what's that on the menu? |
You most likely noticed the new stat on your menu, Encumbrance. Let me
introduce it to you. It's basically how much weight you are holding in
comparisation to how much you can hold maximum. If your encumbrance indicates
None, then you are holding somewhere between 0% and 50%
of your strength. If it indicates Light, then you are
holding between 50% and 65% of your maximum strength. For Medium
it's between 65% and 80%, for Heavy it's 80%-95% and for
Very Heavy it's 95%-100%.
Some items weigh more than others, and most pages already have the item weights on them. If you
want to get less weight on your character, the most effective way is to use light-weight food.
Examples are Golden Showers, Baklava and Yellow Snow Cones.
When you are at 100% (Very Heavy), you will lose 10% of your max fatigue
every step, and that's not a good way to walk around. I suggest you always keep your encumbrance
at None, since you won't lose any fatigue during walking at this stage.
At Light you start to lose fatigue already. Some races can hold more items
than others, and you can check out the Race Abilities Page
for more information about that. If you are really having troubles keeping your encumbrance low, you can
try renting the Enchanted Knapsack, which allows you to hold 25% more items.
It's time for shilla, |
12-March-2006: Let's celebrate! |
Let's all celebrate .. because .. the last forge has been found! The
Flanged Mace has indeed been found, and the combo for this Club
can of course be found on the forge page. Now it's just a matter of waiting
for the admins to put in new forges in the game. At least we won't have to
search anymore right now. On a different note, with the help of Twod, the message board has been fixed again. Everything should work as usual again.
It's time for shilla, |
05-March-2006: Ugh... |
Part of me doesn't want to even report this. But it did happen, and even though,
for the most part, I fixed it. The Message Board was hacked,
and the page it was displaying was basically some Turkish Hackers way of saying, whatever.
It doesn't need to be repeated, honestly. Anyway.. I honestly think I fixed it, so the board should be working.
If not, report errors to me or Alpha. (They should be minor ones, hopefully.)
On a side note, I will be attempting to contact the board creator, Jareth. She was the one, who set up the boards, and they have become, well...outdated. And from what I read, the board was a easy target. Hopefully she can update the boards, cause, I'm pathetic with PHP/SQL. And yes, I have been absent from Shilla. I wanted to keep it a secret, but oh well... I'm taking an extended break, and will be back in a couple weeks or so.(Hopefully)
|
28-February-2006: In-depth Area Pages |
If we had known it took so long, and so much time, effort, and sweat,
we probably never started on it. But we did start on working new area
pages, and the result is this: New Area Page.
Every page looks better than it used to, or at least it's supposed to. It should
look more organized, with more information in there, and every page should have an
up-to-date text map. Of course, for the pages that used to have a Picture Map, that
still stayed, and can be clicked from by the menu. We really hope this was all worth it.
We think it will be.
|
23-February-2006: One last forge + Price Calculator |
The Tempered Kris has been found in the forge. Check the
weapons page and the forge page for more information. The only unfound
forge right now is the Flanged Mace (draconian forge only), and it uses
a Mace. Something completely different now. With the help of Twod we have a completely new, and accurate Price/Shop Calculator on shillatime now. Just fill in your race, charisma, and where you're buying (and wether you've done the kobold quest), and the calculator will hand you a list with the prices of all items available. Useful? You bet.
Start Smiling, |
14-February-2006: The Official Shillatime Newsletter |
I added a Newsletter to shillatime. I hope it works out OK. The main
purpose of the Newsletter is to give players a good view on what is
happening in shilla and shillatime. It could also bring you back into
the game. I could think of a few other reasons, but it's all up to you to
sign up or not. Have fun either way. Be sure to be quick in your decision,
because the amount of places on the list is limited, due to the free service. I also added a new poll. On a completely other note, with the help of TwoD I added a Defense Calculator. It can be found here. It's use is simple. You just fill in your race, and the armor you have equipped, and how many attacks the creature you are facing has, and the calculator gives the amount of defense you have. If you have 250 defense, you'll get hit for 250 less damage. Simple.
Start Smiling, |
8-February-2006: Two more Forge combos found |
Two more forges are found. The Claymore and Fired Stiletto, a sword and dagger respectively.
As usual, the combo's are found on the Forge Page, and more info is available at the Weapons Page. Start Smiling, Alphablast |
24-January-2006: It's a Poll! |
It's been so long since we've had a poll (since Kalfir used to do that), that I thought
it was about time we put on a new one. So here it is, and it's also a question to the public of shilla.
I changed things a little bit around, because of the poll, and now I think it's in a right order. I put
the things that were the least used, on the bottom, and the most used, on top. Start Smiling, Alphablast |
22-January-2006: Even More Align Info |
I added the aligns for most of the lower level areas, from the Outskirts, to the Sky Castle.
They, for the most part, should be correct. Though, I am human, and do make some errors.
If you feel that an alignment is wrong, send me an email and I will promptly look at it. Also, I have been hearing alot of complaints, about the Demon Crab quest. I realize, the stats are probably not correct. However, if you get the quest, please email me, your stats(paste your whole score menu, please), and hopefully soon we can get a more accurate display of the quest. Thanks, |
10-January-2006: An Image Enhancement |
I Made a special page for just Maps now. The Creature placement was getting such good responses,
that it was a good idea to do the same for maps. I also archived some old news, and that can be found, on the Old News Page. |
09-January-2006: More Align Info |
I added a section on the Align Page. It's about changing align. When, why, and how. I hope it answers some questions.
Have Fun, Alphablast |
08-January-2006: New WASP Clan Site |
Ok, so it won't affect everyone, but since it cost me quite some time: WASP's got a brand-new site.
Check it out if you want: We Are Shilla Players. Have Fun, Alphablast |
08-January-2006: Hello =)(A Bizarre Update) |
First off, I would like to thank Alphablast for giving me the opportunity to help with Shillatime.
[And I would like to thank him back for a backstab. No hard feelings though.]I feel that I can help add to something that already is the best thing going for Shilla today.
Hopefully, I can accomplish those goals. And if not, well... I tried. Trying never hurt anything. I added the new wall, current as of today. I named it Winter 05, to keep the pattern going. I also would like to add something about the Three Moons Pendant. It reduces a persons scroll power by 30%. Therefore, if you plan to use scrolls in the future, with this item, you've been warned. Prepare accordingly. This info is also in the Rental Page, as well. |
07-January-2006: Various things |
Just a small notice about the holidays: There were boxes that dropped all over shilla, and this was for a few days.
You could click on the boxes as often as you wanted, but you wouldn't get anything out of it.
Three flowers dropped from 21th december till the 25th. They were Sprig of Holly, Evergreen Bough and Poinsetta Blossom. For more info
about flowers in general, check out the Item Page. Last, around New Year (December 31th/January 1st) something called "A Present" was dropped for a day. What was inside sort of depended
on your Wall Score, I assume. Drops included: Experience (varying from 100k to 15 million), Gold (varying from several thousand to millions), and items such as E-ring, Sculped Dirk, Ice Amulet/Ring,
Steel Banded Staff, Frosted Saber, and probably several other things. Furthermore, I created a special page for all shilla creatures, and removed the long list from the frontpage. And you won't have to scroll through tables anymore either, since every area for creatures has it's own page. I wanted to do that for a while. The link is on the upper right, where the long list used to be. Everything else remains the same. I'll also take the opportunity to welcome a new clan to shilla, MoS. Even more, added the Three Moons Pendant to the Rental Page, and it's a rental that'll increase the drops of Odin in your favor. Meaning to say, it'll drop armor that fits your race more often.
Last but not least, I decided to accept the help from BP to help with little updates on shillatime. So you might get to see updates from him too, from now on. |
29-December-2005: Alignment Info Page |
It's been a long time since I updated something.. Now I added a Alignment Info Page. It is basically a more detailed page of what was already known. And since the power of alignments had changed a while ago, I thought it could be useful to have up here. Furthermore, three flowers were dropping between december 21st and 25th. I only found the Evergreen Bough myself, but I've heard of a Holly Sprig. If you have any info regarding the last flower's name, please inform me, so I can add them on here somewhere. Have Fun, Alphablast |
4-November-2005: Rentals Added |
I added the new rentals, Enchanted Knapsack, Polished Monocle, Shining Scale and Ring of Luck to the Rental Page.
I also added the Glacier aligns, thanks to Bp. Did some minor things you won't notice. Also, if you feel like
helping with research, send me an email. Anyone wants to play the Warlock Game again? Try to read all jokes.. ;) Have Fun, Alphablast |
3-November-2005: After Halloween |
During Halloween, little nameless ghosts appeared in Town. You couldn't hit or kill them.
If anyone has the picture of it, please send it. Kreens and Avarials dropped Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, a replacement
of Dehydrated Druids basically. Have Fun, Alphablast |
9-September-2005: Guestbook = Sign Page |
Some people really piss me off, and it's why I had to change around the Guestbook, which
was completely spammed over and over again by some moronic idiot who wants people to play poker.
So, now the guestbook can be found under the "Feedback" link, under links. Not like anyone was signing it anyway. Have Fun, Alphablast |
1-September-2005: Guild Page Updated & Changes |
As you can see, I changed things around a bit once more. I removed some buttons that weren't used that often, and put links for them on the side rows. I index'ed the left row, as even I found that it became a bit hard to find what you want, when all links are just zapped all though each other. Now it's more ordened, and it'll take a while to get used to, but it's much more effective for finding things. Something else I've done today, is updated the Guilds Page. Most specialities, with the exception of the Daggermasters, have been almost completely written. I've held it short there, but all info you need is still in there. Thanks to Bp, Frostbite & Kuja for additional information about various guilds. I also made some finishing touches on various pages, most of which you won't see. And thanks go to Stev for some of these. Have Fun, Alphablast |
31-August-2005: New Quests & The Catacombs |
There are two new quests out. The first is the Demon Crab quest, which you can get by walking around in Lake Gala untill you see a boy. The Demon Crab (~15k Life, ~200 Max Hits) is easy to find on the beach. It drops the Shovel. Tp back to the Lake, and give the Shovel back. Reward is 250k Gold, 10 Chr and 10 QP. The second quest is the Kobold Raiders quest. You CANNOT have any other quest active, or you won't get this quest. It's gotten randomly from a Town Guard. The Kobold Raiders in Town are pretty weak (400k Life, ~1500 Max Hit), but you'll have to kill quite some. Your reward will be 20 QP and a discount at the Town Shops (10%).
Something completely else is the release of the long-awaited Catacombs, the Contest-area that I've designed, and that the admins put into the game. It's finally out, and found east of the Crypt. For more details, please visit the Catacombs Map, and also the Catacombs Creature Page. The best thing the Catacombs have to offer? The return of our beloved Groping Carnage Rings (+300 Str, +300 Con), of course! They're dropped by Phanganon (13 Mil Life). Beware of all creatures, as they all hit for 30k+. Then there's the demonic merchant, who sells really great food such as Yellow Snow Cones (get that for training!). But that's not everything. A small puzzle where you have to push the statue's on the lowest level, to face the middle, will allow you to teleport to one of the Align Shrines (way easier than searching the Maze over and over), Salena, or the Limbo Keeper. You must kill the creature on the spot of the statue to move/see it, though. More info on the Map Page. |
26-August-2005: Weapon page up-to-date again |
I updated the Weapon Page once more, because the mana weapons had wrong damages on there. They were actually quite a bit weaker. Oops. Oh, and the Blackened Staff is on there now too. Have Fun, Alphablast |
25-August-2005: Elite Guide section completed |
I added the Elite section of the Player Guide, which is basically completed now. I do plan to add the latest section, but it won't have much crucial info, and will be more fun to read for upper players. You won't need much help when you're that high. Have Fun, Alphablast |
24-August-2005: Veteran and Professional sections completed |
I updated the Guide again, and the Veteran and Professional sections are now completeted. Especially the Professional section is worth checking out, with new info about the guardians, and how to quickly recover from deaths, as well as making good progress on training and making gold. The other sections will follow soon. Other future updates will be: Complete Speciality guide pages, a pretty much up-to-date Price Calculator, more info on fatigue and energy drain, an Align Page and up-to-date creature aligns, and a special (quest) creature page. Lots to do, which takes lots of time. Check back often, and I might've gotten around to do something already. Oh, and be sure to try the contest. Who wouldn't want 100 free dex? Have Fun, Alphablast |
14-August-2005: A Brand-New Guide |
Ok, I know it's not completely finished yet, but it took alot of time and effort
to get it done up to this stage. I present to you.. a New Guide!!
It's also a guide for mages, and if you read it from the beginning, to the end, I'm sure even veteran shilla
players will find surprising hints and new info in this brand new guide.. you better start reading it now ;) Have Fun, Alphablast |
5-August-2005: Forge & Quest Update |
A new forge combo has been found, which is the Frosted Saber, the strongest
sword (and maybe weapon) in the game. It has 10% critical hits, and the base damage is
slightly stronger than a normal Scepter. The combo is on the forge page. Furthermore, the last Guild Quests are out. I assume you must kill a special boss creature to complete the guilds. I only know the fighter guild quest so far, which is to kill the Hill Giant creature. Don't worry about these quests for now, since I think you'll need 50k Life to get the quest (an estimate). Have Fun, Alphablast |
11-July-2005: Weapon update |
I found a new forge, the Double Flail Ball. It's a decent low level weapon, around the level of
the JEW. The combo is on the forge page. I also updated the weapons page, which is completely up-to-date again now. Have Fun, Alphablast |
10-July-2005: A very Icy Update |
I update the Ice Palace creature page completely, as well as the Ice Palace Map
Page. They should be complete. Furthermore, I added a Scroll Calculator for
Ice Storm Scrolls, on the scrolls page. A nifty update, which will be quite useful for the
stronger players. For comparisation: The Ice Scrolls are three times as powerful as they were
in old shilla. Oh yeah, and the restriction of Ice Amulet/Rings was lowered to 17.5k WS. Have Fun, Alphablast |
1-July-2005: Elven/Orc War Quest |
I updated the quest page with the Elven/Orc War Quest. You get that quest from a Town Guard,
in a rare chance. Walk around town alot, and meet thousand Town Guards or so. I'm gonna be on vacation, after which I will return to make shillatime as updated as it's supposed to be :) Have Fun, Alphablast |
16-June-2005: Mythril Shop |
There's a new armor shop/forge out, and it's in the Dwarven Stronghold. From the Mountain Entrance Teleport, head
E, E, Up, E(x3), N, W. Basically, it's under the shop that sells Dwarven Helms. In this new shop/forge, you can sell
your Mythril Armor by sorts, so you can choose to sell all Blessed Mythril for example, or only all your Elven armor.
There is another feature in this shop, which is new. If you have a Mithril Helm (Desert 5-ways, 4500 WS to send), the
shop owner will notice, and you can take any Mythril Piece (from Odin) to melt it in the Helm, to make it a true
Mythril Helm, with all the properties of the armor you melt it with. It takes 36 hours to complete the Helm. You'll need to
melt it with a piece of your own race/gender, and of course with the stats you want, etc. On an other note, there will be some other updates later on, including the weapon page, guides, guilds and quests, but this will take some time. Expect everything to be done end of summer. Have Fun, Alphablast |
10-June-2005: Druid Temple & Ice Palace |
The Druid Temple and Ice Palace have been found, although the Druid Temple isn't really an area, it's more like a room
where you get a quest, such as the Mayor's Office in Town. You must save the Princess in the Ice Palace. The Ice Palace lies in the Glacier
and is randomly found in the middle of one of the most northern blocks in the glacier (check the Map). There are some insanely strong creatures there
that'll do 30k damage at ease. The highest life you'll come across is 11 million, of the Storm Giant. This is the only creature you need to beat
in order to save the princess. Directions to the Ice Palace are on the Quest Page for now, but will also be available later on the Ice Palace map page.
A creature page will also be available later. The only drops I have found so far were three foods. They've been added to the Food Page. Something I noticed
was that some creatures rarely change into a Mimic creature. I haven't seen it drop anything yet, though. Have Fun, Alphablast |
09-June-2005: Final two Elemental Weapons |
Thanks to Bizarro-phoenix and Traex the last two elemental weapons, the
Air Crystal Bow and the Earth Obsidian Mace have been found. Also, only forgable by the
right align, sendable at 1750 WS. Combo's are on the forge page. The admins are working
on bugs at the guardians and the new areas. More info will be available about the Druid Temple
when it's known. Have Fun, Alphablast |

I found two new forge combo's today. The first one is the Aqua Sapphire Sword, one of the 4 elemental weapons.
It's only forgable by water aligned characters (so I didn't find it on Alphablast's character, indeed). It's
damage is similar from back in the old shilla, around 5500 average damage, including critical hits. The sending
restriction isn't high, just 1750 WS. The quest page has been updated with the guardian quests. The other combo I found is probably a bit bugged right now, but I found the Frosted Saber. I however, don't think it was meant to be the Frosted Saber, but the Fire weapon. Judging by the combo, it was supposed to be the Fire Ruby Axe. As you might've noticed, a new area, if not two new areas are out, but only available if you have beaten all the guardians. Back to searching for the other two elemental weapons! Oh yeah, and the combo's are on the forge page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
13-May-2005 |
The Mansion Map has been updated, and it looks good now, so for all those people who
are bored fighting the Black Dragons, take a look in the mansion for a change, and train there.
The Creature Page of the mansion has also been updated, so that's pretty much complete. Have Fun, Alphablast |

Zero is nothing, but look what it can do.. The Steel Bladed Staff had an extra 0 in the max damage,
so it's less powerful now, yet still pretty good. It's average damage is 7500 now. With the help of a Forge Hint that I got from winning the contest by designing the future Catacombs area, I also found the strongest weapon in the game, the Giant War Axe. This axe is very powerful as it deals an average damage around 8350. Combined with the right speciality, both these weapons can be extremely powerful, and you'll certainly gain power from it. The combo's are on the forge page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
09-May-2005 |
After quite some forging, and with the use of some interesting forge hints, I found another forge.
Steel Bladed Staff. And this time, it's a really, really great weapon. It's definately the best weapon
ever seen in shilla, as it does a formidable 35k damage. It's a Draconian Forge-only, and the restriction on
sending is around 14k Wall Score. Have fun with it, as I'm sure it'll get you past a creature group or three/four.
The forge combo is on the Forge Page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
29-Mar-2005 |
I added a Text-based worldmap. Have Fun, Alphablast |
23-Mar-2005 |
I updated the Atlantis Creature stats on shillatime for the most part.
It's where you'd expect it to be, under the creature list.
I also updated the Mana Weaponeers Section under Speciality Guilds. |
14-Mar-2005 |
Another forge has been found, this time the Bow of the Equinox (BoE) which you might
remember from before the big reset. It's an average bow, less good than Elven Bow, and
it's a Rangers Weapon. Yet another combo has been found, the Blackened Staff, a mana weapon that's only forgable in Draconian Lair. The combos are on the forge page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
11-Mar-2005 |
With the help of Kuja, a new forge, the Dagger of the Night (DotN) has been found.
The item itself is returning, but the combo is new. It's a Dagger, for the Thief Speciality.
The combo is available at the forge page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
09-Mar-2005 |
After killing new characters, asking around for info for months, and creating and leveling
several different racial characters, the time has finally come. I've put all info on
races their abilities in a table, easy to understand, and very useful for choosing your race.
It will be used to update other things, and later on, when the guides are re-written, this info
will also come in handy. The page can be found Here. On an unrelated note, shilla now has a private way of messaging people. In Town, this Courrier Corp is located W, N, N, W(4x), South. In Elven Village, from the Yggdrasil bottom, head E, N, N. It's also in other villages, but it's pretty useless to go there if you can just check it in Town anyways. Have Fun, Alphablast |
25-Feb-2005 |
There are more Speciality Guilds out now: Staffmasters, Swordhandlers,
Axemasters and Daggermasters guilds. The first three are for fighters, the last
is for thieves. I created and updated the
Guilds section, which will be updated more,
until it has all guilds covered. The Staffmasters Guild is in the Draconian Lair: Go to the spell shop, but instead of SE, go NE, then East. The Swordhandlers Guild is in the Draconian Lair: From Lower Volcano TP, head Up, E(x5), N, E(x3), N, NE. The Axemasters Guild is in the Dwarven Stronghold: East of the Weapon Shop. The Daggermaster Guild is in the Halfling Shire: From the center, head all Northeast. Thanks to Frostbite and BP for help with directions. Some completely unrelated news is that the Town Amulet Shop now sells two brand new items for starter mana users: Ring of Bone raises 25 Int, and Amulet of Apprentice raises 50 Wisdom. They're both more expensive than a Lightening Ring. Credit goes to Clyde.
On request, I also created a page for items other than jewellery.
|
20-Feb-2005 |
There are Speciality Guilds out. The Ranger Guild can only be seen/joined
by members of the Fighter Guild, and is found at the dead end of the Elven
Village Ground Floor. The Mage Guild has the Mana Weapon Guild Speciality, which
you can find in the Elven Village too, down at the Spell Teacher.
Furthermore, the Elemental Guardian Quest is out (and so are the weapons). All that's left
to do is finding out the combo's for the weapons. Assuming the combo's make little sense,
a Fire weapon surely would use Red Ruby and Red Dust, right ..?
Have Fun, Alphablast |
30-Jan-2005 |
I created a Guild Page, which contains Guides for the Figher and Mage Guilds.
The Thief Guild will come later, as well with a little table with the restrictions
and the more exact rewards. Have Fun, Alphablast |
28-Jan-2005 |
I know, the Guilds have been out some time now. What's known about them
is about the following: The Fighter Guild is south of Trader Jack's. The Thief
Guild is E, S, S, E, E, S, E from fountain, and the Mage Guild is West(x4), South from
fountain. You don't have to join if you don't want to, but if you do join, you can also
leave again. However, when you leave, you must wait for a certain period of time
before you can join another guild (say a few weeks or so). All guilds have special quests,
most of which can be done by alot of people. The further you progress, the harder the quests get.
You might think there is no reward to the quests, but there is: In the Fighter Guild, your fighting
abilities go up a little every quest, but your spells go down slightly, and just the other way around
goes for the Mage Guild. What the Thief Guild does, I don't know, but it might lower shop prices.
Finally, when you've done all quests, you'll be rewarded with a special guild forge .. check the forge page
for more information. To get the requirements to do the quests, you need enough Life, Mana or Fatigue for the Fighter, Mage and Thief
Guilds respectively. Soon, I'll make a guild page, where more information will be available. Have Fun, Alphablast |
18-Jan-2005 |
Locojoe found a new forge: Silver Throwing Daggers. It's a dex weapon,
a little less good than Scepter, misses around 5%, and can be forged at both
forges. The combo is on the forge page.

25-Dec-2004 |
Merry Christmas everybody! There are no special drops so far today.. but I've made some updates. The Atlantis Map is updated, so you can check the place out without being kicked to the entrance all the time. Research has been done on the Sculped Dirk, the newest weapon from Atlantis, which CAN be better than Scepter. It can't be sent. It's average damage is 8000, and it's miss rate averages around 15%. Some basic research pointed out that if you have more than 7250 Grope (STR + CON), it's better to stick with the Scepter. If you have less then that, you might want to get it, from King Valhostro (9.2 million life), in the Red Tower of Atlantis. Furthermore, you might've seen that there are 9 new (unfound) forges, along with a new weapon in a shop. The new weapon is the Morning Star, bought in the Dwarven Stronghold. It's average damage is 1550; It's not a very good weapon. Have Fun, Alphablast |
19-Dec-2004 |
Atlantis opened up, it's on the old spot, deep down the ocean, on the 5th fathom.
Creatures are stronger than ever, and drop good food: Dark Chocolate(6057), Atlantean Treats(6786), and Golden Apples(7056).
Due to a bug in the map, I haven't been able to check out the rest of Atlantis, but more info
will be available later, including a map of the place, and creature info. Also thanks to Locojoe4 with the mapping so far. I think the Water Guardian is released along with
Atlantis, so that probably means the Guardian Quest (and the elemental weapons) will be released sometime soon.
Have Fun, Alphablast |
06-Dec-2004 |
I updated the Mana Weapons in the table, including Ruby Mace, the newest found forge. The forge
can be found at the forge page. Additionally, I added several restrictions to the WS Restrictions page. Have Fun, Alphablast |
25-Nov-2004 |
There's not much happening lately, but the Gypsies are dropping Platypie now(85% Drop Rate),
a special holiday food that heals for 27.
Happy Hunting, Alphablast |
19-Oct-2004 |
The creature page of the Glacier has been updated and pretty much holds the info you'll need, except average hits and armor, since they are influenced by align, which is still not completely figured out yet. That will come in a future update. The food, amulet and armor pages have also been updated. Recommended to take a look at the Mythril Armor, it's quite interesting. On a different note, a quite interesting forge hint is the Flaming Scimitar given in the Town Forge. Happy Clicking, Alphablast |
15-Oct-2004 |
It was my favorite area, it is my favorite area, and it probably always will be my favorite area. Glacier opened up! I updated alot of things already about it. A Glacier Map is already up, with information about how to get there. Anyway, the Wandering Provisioner is still there, and he sells better food than ever. His best food is Nectar, which heals for 5814. More important are the Ice Amulet (+200 dex, +200 con), Ice Rings (+150 dex, +300 con), Ice Bracelet (+80 dex, +90 con, +80 wis, +90 chr), Shaman Talisman (+150 dex, +75 con), and various other items, including Race Armor, which appears to be very good. More info about this all soon. Have Fun, Alphablast |
03-Oct-2004 |
I updated some small things and cleaned up the frontpage. I added a new contest, changed some things around, and archived the old news.
You'll have to get used to it a bit, but I'm sure you'll find everything you need.

I updated the creature tables of the Canals, Clouds, Volcano, Plains and partially Vast Desert
with the Alignments of the creatures there. I will update more tables later. Obviously, you can often
guess the alignment of a creature yourself: All birds or flying creatures are Air, and Ocean has pretty much
just water align creatures.
Have Fun, Alphablast |
25-Aug-2004 |
**UPDATE** Shining Claw is dropped by Black Maze Reaper in the Inner Maze. This is also a mana weapon, hits for around 2k. 7 new weapons have been added to shilla. Obsidian Wand is bought at the weapon shop in Town, and is a mana weapon. Emerald Orb is bought at the weapon shop in Elven Village, and is a mana weapon. Sword of Wailing is dropped by Old Witch in the Cemetary, and is a mana weapon. The other 4 weapons are forged.. and unknown. Perhaps the Elemental Swords..? Have Fun, Alphablast |
23-Aug-2004 |
Worth mentioning, two Eye of Ra's have been found today, one by Lich
and one by me. It's found in the desert at 5-Ways, rarely. The stats it gives are
+300 Dex, +300 Wis and +300 Int. It also nullifies the heat and cold of the desert. Can it be sent? Nope, so you'll have to get one yourself
if you want it. I also found a Mithril Helm at a 5-Way. It can be sent, but I have no clue on a restriction. You'll probably won't want it though; It only defends for 32, and has no additional stat bonuses, so it's not better than Dwarven Helm (unfortunately). Have Fun, Alphablast |
22-Aug-2004 |
I updated the Explanations Guide and the Newbie Guide. They should be
completely useable for starting players again. In the next few updates, I'll be working on the other parts of the Guide to make it up to date again and as accurate as possible. I also set up a new contest..
Have Fun, Alphablast |
21-Aug-2004 |
I'm back from vacation, and I updated several things. Take a look at the Pyramid Map Page now, it looks better, and there are guides on how to find, enter and walk around inside to find everything you want in there. I also updated the Desert Map Page with this info, but more important is the Treasure Hunting Page that will teach you how to find all those cool Hidden Treasures in the Desert. A Table with the treasures you can find at which Ways is also on there. The Rental Page has been updated with the Divining Rod (increases chance to find treasure in the desert) and the Lighted Helm (increases chance of finding treasure in the mines). Lastly, I re-did the Credits page a little, gave more people credits and removed the table and just put it in text there. If you're not on there while you think you should, notify me and you'll be on there in a second. A Mansion Map is also up, with many thanks to Bacchus. I don't think it's open now, but it might be useful for whenever it opens again. Lastly I updated the Weapon Page with some missing weapons. Have Fun, Alphablast |
5-Aug-2004 |
I will be gone on vacation yet again, for two weeks, and Kalfir quit shilla, since he
has found a job now.. so no updates here anytime soon. I will do my best to get everything
updated when I'm back .. but that's 2 weeks later from now. Cya.. P.S. Please DO email anything that you think will be useful to update when I get back. This will save me alot of time. Thank you. Have Fun, Alphablast |
3-Aug-2004 |
Sirius found the TJBA and UJBA forges today, with the help of some contest hints.
Also thanks to Jk and Envee for their contest hint, and sharing it in public. Both weapons can only be forged in the Draconian Forge. Especially UJBA
is hard to forge. Not only that, it has a restriction on sending of 14k. The TJBA is worse than Scepter, and kind of
like a duplicate to ROD. The UJBA is worse than Scepter too, even though it has 7k Base damage. This is because of
it's 20% misses, where Scepter only has 5% misses. You can try for yourself though, and perhaps find the UJBA a little bit better,
or maybe just as good as the Scepter. Currently, and yes, that has been confirmed, there are no unfound forges. For the combo's, check the Forge Page, of course. Have Fun, Alphablast |
1-Aug-2004 |
I updated the Armor Page with the Skin Armors for every race.

Still doesn't make sense? Try this: Fire Alignment: You are Weak in Ocean, Strong in Clouds. Air Alignment: You are Weak in Volcano, Strong in Pyramid and Plains. Earth Alignment: You are Weak in Clouds, Strong in Ocean. Water Alignment: You are Weak in Pyramid and Plains, Strong in Volcano. Of course, more research is being done, and we're not sure if there are other creatures or exceptions. I'm also not sure if all of the above is completely right, but so far, it seems about correct, so make a choice, I guess. It appears that most areas have their own align element. With your help, I can try finding out which has what. Have Fun, Alphablast |
30-Jul-2004 |
Creature info for the Great Pyramid has been updated. For the ones who didn't notice it yet, the Intelligence restriction page is up-to-date again, and split from the Wall Score Restriction page (still working on updating though). A new, re-written guide is one of the next planned updates. Have Fun, Alphablast |
29-Jul-2004 |
With the help of Isaac's contest hint (GSS), a new forge has been found: Iron Rations. The combo is:
Red Ruby Slippers/White Pixie Dust/Green Emerald/GSS/Sparkling Silver. Iron Rations is a food that heals for the massive amount of 6543, highest healing food in shilla history, but I suspect this food will be used in an other forge too. We'll keep you updated on forges, pyramid, and race changes. Have Fun, Alphablast |
28-Jul-2004 |
The Great Pyramid is open. It is quite tricky to find, and you will need around 790 Int to
enter. Here's how you enter: Have a Compass! From Mountain Entrance Teleport, head W,S,N,W,S,S,(SE x3),Consider for an East, E, Drink From
Oasis, Consider for south,S,(SE x3),(SW x3), Consider for South,S,Drink, Consider for west,W,(NW x7), Consider for north, N, Drink,
Consider South, S,(SW x3),(SE x3), Consider for South, S, Drink, Consider for North, N, (NE x2), (SE x2), Consider for South to find Pyramid Base,
head south. Now Consider for north, N, Consider for north again, and head north. If you get kicked back to the desert in these last 2 steps, use
the map of the Desert to find the Pyramid Base again, and try again. So what's inside? An Ice Scroll, with the same power as before, and better than the Fire Scrolls, a Glittering Annulet, better than Ornate Fascia, it's a bracelet that gives (+60 Str,+50 Dex,+60 Con,+73 Wis). A bunch of good food, with Feteer Bel Asaag being the best and healing for 4572. There is also a strange weapon called Ferrule of Reki Mia (FoRM), it cannot be sent, and it's a bit wierd weapon. More info on this later. Furthermore, it this Pyramid is a dangerous place. The creatures have 6-7 million life, give good exp, but also hit around 9k-16k which is, if I'm not mistaken, the highest in shilla history. A map is found Here, but it's not perfect yet, and the size is big, so you will have to give it time to load. A text map should be up tomorrow, along with many of the creature stats. On a completely different note, check out the re-newed Restrictions Page for Intelligence restrictions for most races. The other races will be filled in soon. Have Fun, Alphablast |

and let me also list their consequences. With all these changes so far, more are probably on their way. We'll try to keep you updated. -Alpha |
20-Jun-2004 |
Orc Outpost has been found, and it is located in the Ocean.
From the Middle Beach Teleport, go South, West, South, East x4, South x7,
East, North, and you'll be inside. I have no idea what gets you in or not,
so far, but watch out, for the guards can hit around 5000-9500 Damage. There
are Pickpockets in there that can steal small amounts of money, but that is no
big threat. Furthermore, you can buy Orcish Leggings (+200 Wis), and play a Dice
game, where you can bet money (not profitable). Aside from the regular Bank, you can
listen in a Tent, a Bar-like place, for information. There are also Thugs that break into
fights. That's about it.
Have Fun! Alpha |
12-Jun-2004 |
Just a little update, with the help of Twod, the Spell/Skill Training Calculator
now also has the fireball spell added, so you can check how much levels you can
gain with how much experience. The Shop Calculator has also been updated, and now lists
the prices of amulets and rings at the trader (in halfling shire). They aren't 100% accurate,
but should give you an indication of how much something costs.

The Monster Hit Calc has been updated with the very accurate numbers for the Ocean Creatures, something the higher players
have been looking forward to. Sorry for the delay, but it was quite alot of work. Furthermore, I have added the two Draconian Creatures to the Table and also Monster Hit Calc. Have Fun! Alpha |
10-May-2004 |
The SJBA (Superior Jeweled Battle Axe) forge combo has been found. The old combo as we used to know it,
is no longer valid. Instead, a new combo has been given to this old forge. Check the Forge Page for more information.
It hits between 4000-5500, with an average of about 4760 Damage. It can be forged in both forges. It can be sent to people with a Wall Score of 4000 or higher.
For those who haven't noticed it yet, the Wall of Flame has been recorded at the beginning of May. I will try to do this three times in a year, every four months. Have Fun! Alpha |
28-Apr-2004 |
The Lower Volcano has been added to the Monster Calc, and I added a contact email, see above, for those who wish to contribute by email. The Monster Calc also has the Rented Armor pieces available now. A Rental Items page is also available now, which will be updated often. Also, Limbo now has a restriction, so don't bother trying getting a ROD as a newbie anymore. The restriction is still unknown to me, but it seems to be around 2k. The Guides have been updated a bit too, especially the Weapon and Armor Guides are up-to-date again. Kalfir put up a new poll. Tell us what you think by voting. Have Fun! Alpha |
22-Apr-2004 |
A rental shop has been released. It is found East, South x2, East x4, South from Fountain. Items for rent are: If anyone finds out more about the above listed items, would you please be so kind and post what you know in the shillatime board? Thanks in advance, it will make things easier for me. Have Fun! Alpha |
18-Apr-2004 |
With the great help of Randall23, we have been adding item weighs to the Jewellery and Food Tables.
The Armor Page is still a work in progress, and we will look into the Weapons page for weights soon also.
You might be wondering why this is even worth the trouble doing all of this. Well, it opens a new way for research on
Whirlpools, and Fatique Drain on weapons. We'll keep you updated.

All armor pieces have apparantly been increased in Defense. All new values have been
updated on the armor page and on the Monster Hit Calculator. The game is slightly easier now,
but I can see why they made the armor better; After all, the creatures have been hitting harder
than in previous shilla's, too. Furthermore, the Creature Rewards Page has also been updated. It's almost completed.
Soon some more small things will be updated.

Draconian Lair is up (Found Up, East from Lower Volcano Teleport). Here you can find a Bank, a Forge, a Food Shop, a Spell Trainer and a Armor Shop. Most usefull is the Draconian Shield which adds 200 to CON. Fireball, which can be trained at the spell trainer (duh), can be usefull. At level 800 it does about 1mil damage and to get it to 800 you only need 2bil exp. Watch out! The guards hit up to 9000, so bring an invisibility ring, but even when you wear it a drunk guard can attack you. Only for 5000 tho (I think). (Obviously, the notice about the Pyramid was just an April Fool's JOKE. -Alpha) Happy hunting Kalfir The Elf |
01-Apr-2004 |
The Pyramid opened up more than two weeks ago. It wasn't found because it's so well hidden in the Desert. Discard the Compass first. Then you must drink from all Oasis, then Town Portal, buy 50 Black Amulets(to prevent the traps in the Pyramid from damaging you much, they seem to help), go back to desert, find all 5 ways(there are 4 to be found), then search for the Great Pyramid. There are great items out there. The Glittering Annulet, Ice Scrolls and the full Black Armor Set are out. The Groping Carnage forge combo has also been found.
Have Fun ;) -Alpha |

A Beach Path leading to Hestas and Adira's Sand Mansion(Let's not turn the game into a soap series, though.. lol) has been found east of the Far Beach Teleport Spot. It seems characters that are about average (2k-8k ?) can see this path, but not much is known. Furthermore, there are no new items whatsoever to be found, so you're not missing anything -at all- if you can't find it. Here is more information available,
including a Text Based Map. Have Fun!

Just a mixture of some updates, there is now a Gnome in Town, found from the fountain West x2, North. He will stock your items for you. This has been like this for a while, just a notice here doen't hurt either. Furthermore, I logged Hestas' and Adira's Wedding, taken from the news page and made it look a little better than it did in there (IMHO).

Yup, we have a new votingtopic. So, as always, please vote = ) Have fun! Kalfir The Elf ----- Most pages have been updated with things from the Ocean, Wedding Items, and Volcano things, from the past few weeks, that have been quite busy. Also, the Whirlpool stats are finally up, for those interested in there fascinating creatures. Take a look at the Ocean creature page. I'd also like to announce Locojoe's and Ajoe's Wedding. A possible date is March 20th, but you know, these things are kind tough to decide on, so who knows if it'll be changed. Remember, ask them, not me ;) Alpha |
14-Feb-2004 |
Alright, lots of things to talk about. First of all, Grats to Hestas and Adira on their marriage. In the outskirts, Gypsies drop Leather Whips(Weak Weapon) and Studded Leather Straps(Armor with no Defense). Convicts drop Fur Lined Handcuffs(Bracelet, +1 CHR) and lastly, Goblins drop Wedding Rice(Flower/Signature Item), Wedding Cake(Food heals for 20) and Wedding Champagne(Food heals for 13). Have Fun with these items. An other thing is that the Ocean opened up, apparantly some time ago, but no one noticed it(The news page keeps all of us up to date on big changes, lol, right). From the Middle Beach Teleport, go south, west, south. Restriction is 690 Intelligence. Now wear your MERMAID SCALE, otherwise you'll die from drowning! The ocean is the exact same shape, with the same creatures, but the creatures are much stronger(6.2 mil Life is strongest, and 9k Life hitting is the hardest). All existing forges have been tested, nothing out so far. New, better food is also out. The best food is now Nanners, dropped by Sylph in the deepest level. It heals for 3702. The Aqua set is partially out, but only Leggings are worth wearing, since village armor is superior than Aqua. We are working on getting a map(it stayed the same, so a text one should be up soon), and the creature stats in the tables. Also, Whirlpools are back, but they don't drop Enchanted Weapons. Whenever you encounter a Whirlpool, you MUST fight it, so if you can't beat it, just logout and back in to make it go away, or just teleport away. Good luck with everything, we'll keep you updated. Have Fun! Alpha ----- A text-based map is up. It's Sotins old map modified. HERE it is. Kalfir The Elf |

Shilla is back online again fortunately, so that's alot sooner than expected. Alot of things are updated. First of all, the Creature Reward Page has been updated with the Volcano Levels, so you know where the experience and gold is the best for you. The NEW Wall of Flame Ranks have also been updated at the Area and WS Restriction Page. And last but not least, most pages are now colored for your reading comfort. The creature tables were already colored, and many liked it, so I hope this is an improvement for everyone. Maybe a poll in the future will ask if it should stay this way or not, but personally, I kinda like it. Have Fun!

You probably noticed it, then came here. According to Bonzo Shilla's server is down, and you probably won't be able to play till Sunday evening. Yeppers, that's not so great news, but you can just take a break from shilla or something, and check back often because maybe it will come back sooner than expected. Right now, just expect Sunday Evening. On the other hand, the shillatime contest has just opened, and you can still participate even though shilla is down, so take your time to answer the first contest question. It shouldn't be that hard...=) As for the background, I personally like it better than looking at a completely black page, but hopefully kalfir will make a poll about it so that YOU, the visitor of shillatime, can judge wether or not it should stay. Alright, here it is, or at least, most of it. The Map of the Lower Volcano can be found Here.
There are 4 shapes for each level, which made it kind of easy to get lost, and hard to map. We are working on the few missing shapes, and they will get added ASAP. We will hopefully be able to make the maps in graphic also, when we have perfected it out, and when we're sure there aren't any bugs in it. For now, I think this will do just fine. Follow the Legend carefully, and you should not get lost. I hope this helps some. Have fun!

Nice Melkor have saved us some time. The trainer in town now uses your base statistics when training you. Amulets, Rings, etc no longer affect your training costs. As you might have noticed, the wall is based on our unmodified stats. For more info, check the NEWS page in Shilla. Thanx for visiting us and remember to have fun! Kal |

With the support of JK and Randall23, a few new "old" forge combo's have been refound. Apparently they didn't work at first, but now they do. Jeweled Battle Axe is a decent weapon, with about the same strength as Elven Bow, but with misses. It is 3 times as cheap though, so that might be affordable for some. It can be send at 1500 WS. Red Trunk is, well, another Trunk. Trader Jack can be used to stack items more and more easy with Trunks, and this is just another Trunk. Doesn't hurt to forge one, since you don't lose them when you die: Ever. The last of the three is Maji Ward. This Amulet adds 100 to all Mana stats. Too bad that the old 5-in-1 combo now only produces Maji Ward's. Hopefully the others will be found soon. For now, visit the forge page to see the combo's for these items. Have Fun! Alpha |

The creature page has been updated with all creatures from the Lower Volcano. It's under the normal volcano link. The creatures seem to have a special ability to gain a whopping 2500 defense at certain times on a day. Think of it like the times in the Desert being hot or cold. When these times are exactly will be figured out later. As you might have noticed, the volcano maps seem to change alot. You can still use our old map though, to get a bit of a global view of the size of the level you are on. There are about 3 or 4 shapes for each level, and one of those shapes is on the map. The size won't change either, so it's just to see where you are, and if you want to go down or up. We will make maps of all shapes later. Furthermore, the other pages have been updated with the regular information regarding the Lower Volcano. We'll be searching for forges with the new items also, in the hope of finding one of the MANY old "Volcano" forges, such as Nova Rings(+100 Str, Dex, Con). Have fun! Alpha |
20-Jan-2004 |
Yeah! The lower volcano has been opened. You need 640 Intelligence to enter, and the creatures are strong, and there is also the sapping heat. The things to gain are: Red Ruby Studded Shield, dropped by Adult Red Dragon, Red Ruby Plate Mail dropped by Red Elder Dragons (strong) and Red Ruby and Red Pixie Dust from Lava Worms and Pheonixes. We will work on forges, and will keep you updated when new items have been found out. Enjoy the volcano, but beware that the creatures are tough! Highest Life is from the Pheonix.. they have 4.2 million life. Have fun! Alpha |

A few things have been updated. First of all, the Wall of Flame has been logged at the end of the Old Year. It can be found on the menu on the right, under "OTHER". The Map of Lake Gala now has additional information about Kraken, and it's drop rates. Could be useful. We will be looking for other special drop rates spots also. Lastly, the Desert map has been updated. It is now 100% correct, and even shows the location of the Pyramid Base(Although the actual pyramid isn't out yet, unfortunately). Have fun!

Not really an update, but more a notice of some things that happened in Shilla. First of all, the Shilla News Page seems like it has been completely renewed, so it might actually give it's name a meaning. Secondly, Hestas and Adira are getting married on Februari 13th. I don't have much to update on shillatime right now, and we're all kind of busy with out lifes, but don't worry. We'll keep the site up-to-date as new areas come out, or if we find out something noteworthy. Until that moment, keep enjoying playing shilla. Alpha |

First of all, a new poll is up. Vote it if you like. More importantly, thanks to Dragon-x, we now have new maps! In fact, this is the surprise we earlier spoke of. We had gotten some complaints about our maps here and there, and we weren't happy with the ourselves either. But Graphical Artist Dragon-x did all of us a great favor and now these maps are up. Even more noteworthy is that some of them are layered. This means that you can view several levels of a map by clicking on the button of the layer(level) you want to see. Good example would be Elven Village. We have done this to make things easier. Especially because later areas have layers (think of Ocean, Pyramid, Glacier) we thought it would be smart to come out with this feature. Of course, it could be you don't like the maps. For those, we have kept the old links to the maps, and they are on top of each new map page. Some pictures might take a while to load, so for those on webtv, it can be easier to swap to the faster loading (old) map. Anyway, we hope you have a good use of them! Have fun, Alpha & Kal |

Two major things have been updated. First of all, we now have a Spell and Skill Calculator.
Just fill in your Wis and Int, fill in the levels, etc, and calculate how much exp you need.
Try it out now! Thanks to TWOD
for his help. Second, the Shop Calc has been updated. Rod of Destiny price, as well as some race armor prices have been added. The Food section has been made also, although not really that useful, it's still a neat addition that allows you to see how much this and that will cost you. We have some other updates planned soon..Stay updated. Have fun, Alpha |
07-Dec-2003 |
The Monster Hit Calculator has been updated with the accurate stats of the Canals creatures and the Halfling Guards from the Shire. This will help you to survive, when you want to attempt for the Scepter, for example. We have a surprise for you soon, so stay alert.. The Warlock Message has been added to the Error Page. I hope it will be removed, or fixed at the very least, soon. Have fun, Alpha |

Yesterday, the night of 29 November, Turkeys were walking around in Town, dropping Aardvark Steak. Unfortunately, I missed this event, and I didn't get any data on this at all. However, thanks to Teppomoose, the data is saved. Seems like Turkeys are the weakest creatures known. Thanks a bunch, Moose!

It's a bit hard to keep a guide updated when there are new things added everytime you finish writing it, so therefore I wrote a Weapon and Armor Guide. In it is explained which weapons you should choose, and in the Armor Guide is explained which armor you'll need, and how to get it. See it as an addition to the Guide, as that one probably won't be updated easily. Something else, all the headers have been replaced by a new kind. Hope ya like them! Lastly, the creature tables have been expanded by an "Additional Notes" row. Not sure if it is even needed, but at some creatures I found it useful to add extra information. The Creature tables are now wider, so that there aren't any problems viewing them with smaller monitors. Have fun, Alpha |

22-Nov-2003 |
A new Halfling Shire is now open. Found in Plains. Nearby the Well, you notice a sign west. The Halfling Guards have a max hit of 6000, so be careful. Word has it that having a variety of foods will let you in without getting hit. I have heard 9 works, but we recommend carrying as many types as possible to be the most safe until we have a known limit. A map, with information on some truly great new items and features are temporarily posted. Alpha or Kalfir will update the normal areas once they can get to it.
Enjoy, Sotrin |
21-Nov-2003 |
Canals are up. They are found all west, south, west from the fountain. The creature stats are up already, as well as a map. Look in the menu on the left, as usual. You need to have a Lightening Ring equipped to see in there. We're guessing the restriction is around 500 Int, but it's just a guess in the dark. The best Weapon in the game, The Scepter of Alura Dhir, is dropped by Earth Elementals. It has a HIGH restriction on is (couldn't send to Kalfir with 28k+ ws...Forget about sending..), and it is by far the best weapon in the game. It has rather low misses. Bbq rat Toes are dropped by Terror Rats, and that's all there is to get.
Have fun, Alpha |

Grats to Sotrin and Exotic Cherry for it's their first wedding anniversary.
Some words from Hestas about Shilla: Well, I tried to go post this over on shillatime.org message board but aparently it has to send an activation code to my e-mial, which is down with the rest of the game at the moment. SO those who read, pass the word along. Due to once again due to unforseen technically errors, Shilla is unavailable. You probably knew this already. Basically, a major piece of networking equpiment had to be replaced. This brought upon more technically issues, but I won't bore everyone with details. Shilla SHOULD be available again within 72 hours. It really should be a lot less, but we're waiting for dns to re-propgate accross the internet. I say SHOULD, since there may be one other issue that can mess us up at this point, but I won't to see if it's a problem first before I try and fix it. For the worried, no, this is not another reset. There server is fine, humming along wonderfully on it's shelf. Hestas |

Thanks to Twod, the incredible Monster Hit Calculator is now available, Online and completed! This great tool will allow you to input any armor, and magic shield, and then shows the max and min that the creature you selected will hit you for. This is a great tool for every shillian, and it's unseen before. We hope everyone will learn to trust it's uses, and will have practical uses of it in gameplay. No more uncertainity wether or not you can take a creature, you just calculate it, and you know the facts.
Another thing, the stats calculator has been updated. There were some errors with it (caused by mainly typos), and they have been corrected. It should function perfectly now. If there are any more bugs, please report those also.
As a final note for this update's notice, the elven village restriction, as well as necropolis are very close to being found out. We will keep you updated on the progress on both, and once discovered, it'll be announced in public.

Quite some things have been updated today. As you can see, the old news has been archived and can be accessed from the bottom of the page. A Dex<->Attacks Calculator is added on the stats page, which is something we just forgot to add, but now it's there. The Fatique values are still worked on. The weakest creatures are already available, and the stronger ones are worked on. Something noteworthy is the Rewards Page. Here you can see how much experience and gold you get in each important creature group, and also the increase rates as you move along and get stronger. You can see easily where you can advance really fast, for example when you go from Sky Castle to the Great Plains. Have fun,

Energy Drain, the newest spell found in Necropolis, is no longer bugged (BOO! err..yeah..). It's now much weaker than before,
and it has an actual formula based on creatures fatique. So currently the creature pages are being updated with the Fatique value.
The formula for Energy Drain is on the Spells Page. Oh, By The Way, Necropolis can be entered when you have RECENTLY died. I don't know how to get in otherwise, so don't ask me. If you need something from there, ask it to be send to you, or take advantage of it when you die by accident, and get the things you need. Alphablast |

Kalfir |
31-Oct-2003 |
Necropolis, the Wraith Village, is found all west from cemetary crossroad. Specifics are under way. Wraith Gloves (around 2-5 mil gold) add 200 Int. Furthermore, there's a spell shop with energy drain, a spell that drains enemy fatique. There's a Curse Removal, which removes curses from items. There's a shop where you can Untrain Spells, and there's Limbo. Limbo can teleport you to fountain. The informant in town is updated too, and tells you if you can get in or not.. Happy Halloween everyone =) Alphablast |

The Spells page has been updated, and some of the spell mechanics were figured out. Something that had been overseen but it's there now. Also, and Area/Creature Group rewards page is in the making. It'll show you what the average exp and gold is at each creature group, and what the increases are when you move to the next strongest creature group. Useful for seeing where you can advance fast, or where you'll want to train.

Another UPDATE.. The Ray Gun should be dead now. Never to be seen again. *Waves*
UPDATE..WARNING The Ray Gun will still happen. The teleport seems to stop only certain Ray Guns. So be careful.
The Ray Gun Death will no longer happen from this moment onward. It has been replaced by a teleport, that teleports you to the location you were the last time the game recognized your position. This means no more unfair deaths. Just thought I'd put that here as it's pretty important..

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you played on September 30, in the early morning, it is possible you are glitched when you logged in the next time in shilla. If you are, you must email the admins so they can restore you. If you don't do this, they won't know you are glitched.
Furthermore, the Spells and Skills page has been updated. The Teleport Spell has been uncovered now, and it's restrictions are now known. There's also a table added for the things you can find in the mines. Black Pearl is the rarest item, and you can find it all east, down down, south from the skill training place. At least, that's where it's been found and confirmed. You can find everything at level 20, so there's no need for you to boost it more than that. Also, Teleport doesn't need to be over 50,and Town Portal is fine at Level 10 if you just got decent Wisdom.
NEW POLL is up. Place a vote and help us out with what you think is more important.

The rest of the creature pages have been updated. So, now they all got color = )
Kalfir |
25-Sep-2003 |
The creature pages have been updated. More up-to-date information is now presented. Even better, colors have been added to the tables. Red is the life of the creature, Armor is gray, the hits are gold, Attacks orange, the rewards green, and the Attack Text blue. Not all pages have been done yet, only about half of them, because it's a lot of work. Also, most creatures have drop rates now next to their dropped item(s). A handy little piece of data, it can be useful at times. Nothing essential, but if it isn't there, you could miss it. We're still busy on the monster hit calculator, and it will be converted into a web-based one in the future, hopefully. But this has been the hardest project ever, so it's taking up a lot of time. When it's finally finished, we're sure that many will have profit of it. Until then..clicking time,

The Desert has been added this morning. It looks roughly the same as it used to, but some things have changed. No, there's no Pyramid yet, but the Travelling Merchant is still there, and he sells some good things, some crap. A really MUST is the Red Hot Chili Peppers that heal for 2970, and a dissapointment is the Flaming Scimitar that is the same as Elven Bow but with the misses.. Another "good" thing is that the Ankh still can be bought. Still adds +150 Wis and +150 Int. Save your WS, the equip your ET again. So where *IS* the desert? Warp to the Park ranger Spot. From Here, go West, South, North, West, South, South. Good Luck, and be safe because creatures ARE strong. The Creature stats have been updated and can be viewed Here. The only useful thing dropped is Red Ruby Slippers, way worse then Elven Boots, by the Green dragon. So if you aren't safe fighting, just go for the Merchant. Here is a map of the Desert. The restriction on Desert is 590 Int. Updates are on the way, and data on the usual equipment has been added on the normal pages already.

Kalfir |
12-Sep-2003 |
A Total Kills Wall has been set up in shilla on request by me =). It's found 4 East, North from the fountain. A Graveyard has been created too, an idea of Lich so I recall, and it's found West, South, West from the Fountain. The Town Map will be updated soon when Kalfir wakes up..or something. Air Citadel is the Clouds, or at least we think it is, so if you hear about it, it's probably just the clouds. Rumors are that new areas are opening up soon. Let's hope so. These are the not released areas yet: Canals, Deep Volcano, Ocean, Desert, Pyramid, Glacier and Atlantis. Well, Atlantis and Pyramid are in areas that aren't even up yet so those will probably not be released soon. The Glacier was the highest quality of Amulets and Armor the last time, so we swap that too. Basically, we're expecting Canals, Desert, Ocean, Deep Volcano in that order. Is that right? Hmm, stay tuned.

The Monster Hit Calculator is finally up! This
incredible tool lets you input your armor, and even you magic shield, and it will give you the true range a monster can only
hit you for. This is a MUST for every shillian exploring the realm. Unfortunately, the stronger creatures are very hard to

The new Poll is up! I messed it up a bit, with the colors, but, oh well. The other poll's results can be checked out at the
Old Poll Results Page. This new poll will give some interesting results, I think.
The other poll got a total of 91 votes, quite an amazing amount I haven't seen before in a shilla poll.
Some other updates were made in the previous days, mostly small updates. Armor defenses are different now, Miscalenous Items
were added under the Amulets page, More specific info on WS Restrictions was added, and a larger description of how to do
Quests has been done.
The Monster Hit Calculator is currently in progress. An estimated time cannot be given as of yet, but perhaps we will
release one with the most "popular" creatures first, like Arch Angel, Salena, Dead knight, Hydra, Mermaid Hunter, etc.

Some updates have been made without announcements. We now have a message board up and running, just click the button above
to visit. There are several requests made by us there, and everyone can help us to find out the thing we want to know. Yes,
even the people who just started. So check it out. The Guide has been updated for some time now, but it isn't finished yet.
There are some small errors in it as well, I know, but bear with me and I'll clear those out asap. The Guide will just
feature the whole game, I figured, since there are also questions asked by people with Wall Scores that you'd say they are
no newbs anymore for sure. The creature pages have changed too. The Absorb Factor has been there for some while now, but if
you haven't noticed it yet, you should definately take a look. It's the replacement of Armor %, which proved to be less
accurate as these numbers. More details are on the creature pages. Creature Attack Texts are new as well. Check them out. I
added backgrounds for all sub-pages as well, today. I thought it'd look better, and I suppose it does. The background comes
from the chatroom "Mentor's Sanctuary", and was created by Radagast. All proper credit goes to him. The creature pages also
support pictures now, except one, which is the Arch Angel. If you click the Link, the window will be sized just how
big/small the picture is. Pretty neat feature, eh? Future plans aren't really working out, because Kalfir has been busy
recently, but updates will proceed as usual, as long as I'm not on vacation. Last but not least, I'd like to apologize to
Plankton for us using the initial creature stats without asking him first. I suppose we were wrong after all. It's too late
to ask now, but all proper credit goes to Plankton. Better late then never, hmm? I guess. See you people around,

We changed hosts. Yes! Nice Sotrin allowed us to use his domain www.shillatime.org, since it was nearly ever used anymore,
and it would be a waste of money to do nothing with it. Thank you, Sotrin. We appreciate it. So now we have this cool new
URL as well, easy to remember, easy to post in chat (shillatime.org) and there won't be ANY spaces in it when you do =D.
Coolness. Our previous host had some nasty popups, which are all gone as well. And sphosting used to mess with the code so
that some things became just impossible to make. Now we can. A bright future, this is. Move with us, move to Shillatime.
It's time for shilla now.

The Newbie Guide has been upgraded, and I must say it looks a *lot* better
then before. A new poll was added yesterday, but just in case you haven't voted it, do so now.
We have a new message board up and running, hosted by Bravenet.com. It's not a permanent one, but it
will suffice for now. We plan to make a better message board some day later.
Some day. =) Our future plans are basically to get a full Strategy Guide up and running,
from A trough Z, with every single question answered in it. I think this might be the most
wanted thing at this moment. Something else we are trying to fix is a stats calculator, but it proves to be
quite hard to make one.
Yet another thing that we're sure of that it's wanted is a Deluxe Calculator where you can enter your armor
pieces in, and fill in your Magic Shield Level. Then Select a creature from the list, and the calculator will show you
what the average hit is for you, from that creature. Don't expect this one soon, though.
It's harder than it seems, but once it's there, it's there and ripe to use for everyone.

Hello, and welcome to Kalfir and Alphablast's helpsite. We made this page with the goal to help anyone who is in need of
help. With a lot of research, we hope to provide the most detailed information any Shillian can wish for.
